The roll-off observatory in Germany was built during the spring from 2011 in my backyard. After long planning the decision taken was to use a commercial available angle garden house that would not disturb the appearance of the sorroundings. It is a small 3 m x 3m house reinforced with massive construction wood where necessary. The concrete basement for the mount has dimentions 80 x 70 x 90cm. The 10Micron mount is supported by a nice Baader cast iron column filled with fine sand and rigidly mounted on the basemen.
