NGC 2237– Rosette Nebulae
Date: 14.10.2012 and 20.10.2012 Location: Crisopolis, Brazil
Equipment: Telescope: FSQ-106EDX f/5 Mount: ASA DDM60 Guiding: no guider Camera: SXVF-M25C for RGB and SXVF-H36 for Luminance Filter: IDAS LPS for M25C and IR/UV for H36 Acquisition: Software: MaximDL 5 FOV, Image scale: 153 x 101 arcmin, 3.03 arcs/pixel Sub-exposures: 1h 55min RGB (23 x 5 min) + 1h 15min L light frames, Calibration: flats and bias, darks with H36 Processing: MaximDL: Calibration, registering, SDMask stacking Images Plus 3.75: DDP CS5: Merging L-RGB, levels and curves adjustments Comments: The RGB image from M25C was quite noisy. Therefore the decision to shoot a luminance with the H36 and blend it into a L-RGB image.
